ABOUT BETSY After starting a major in art in college I saw a commercial on television on a photography program at The Art Institute of Philadelphia. I had been to a Livingston Taylor concert a few weeks before and had shown him a photo I had taken of him at a previous concert. He loved it so much he asked me to have one printed for him as a publicity photo. Back to the commercial, when I saw it I knew from that moment what career path I wanted to take. I enrolled in their photography program and after a year there I started my own photo business doing portraits, weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and schools. That was in the mid 1980’s. I try to portray each client just as they are, capturing them at a given moment that I think shows their personality. |
